Whys that? ive been in an iveco crew cab towing a bandit 90. I tow 1850kg each day with my transit

We have one that we pull behind a 12 ton wagon and that seems a reasonable set up for the size of the chipper.

I wouldnt like to try and chip into a little chip box on 3.5 ton vehicle with our chipper.

The canters are v good vehicles and are capable of towing the weight, but im my opinion these chippers are to big for a 3.5 van.

Mine spends most of its time behind an 18t tipper but on occasion it goes out with the Land Rover, which tows it no problem. It chips with minimal mess into the open roofed body, just don't chip on full revs.

Funny how many say, they're too heavy for a 3.5t vehicle, yet plenty of guys on here run 3.5t tipping trailers and brim them with logs and chip behind the same vehicles.

However if you only have a 3.5t you'll quickly be looking to buy a lorry as a quick chipper will fill the tiny body even faster than normal, highlighting the bottleneck in the process.
