Large Holly Trunk

We have just felled a large twinned stemmed Holly . One trunk is 18ft and the other 13ft in length . Diameter 18" / 24" is this any good for milling . The remaining stump is easily 3ft 6" in Diameter and the same in height any good for carving . Seems a shame to firewood it ?

South Cheshire if anyone is interested . I can get them to roadside .

As Steve said holly that big is rare and milled and dried correctly can be very valuable to the marquetry industry. Pure white, dry boards can command very high sums from the right buyer. Should be milled and put in a kiln as soon after felling as possible, the same day in an ideal world!

Good luck
