accordin to the manual it is 920kg so if you have post 97 driver will be over the magic weight of 750kg

The Eco Chip 150MT25D with its air cooled 3 pot diesel is a tad over 750kgs, but it ain't 920kgs! That was the bigger version with the water cooled 3 pot Isuzu diesel.

Mine is the lister petter as you say, guessed it would be over 750 as its braked, but think its nearer 800kgs.

It would seem, therefore that the gross weight of the towing vehicle doesn't matter, provided that the whole rig doesn't exceed 3.5 tonnes.

 

Stick the chipper on the double cab, you drive the V8, the insurance will be cheaper!
