Hi looking at buying a 60kva 3 phase generator to power poach 360, under full load the manufactures state they use 13 litres/hour , where as a tractor powering our current 350 posch uses about 25 litres/day! Does anyone use silent genny and can you advise on size and fuel consumption thanks!

On half load our 60 kva uses about 5 litres an hour. The other thing to remember it's an engine bolted to an alternator so your not paying out for gearbox oil or repairs. Less friction should also mean better efficency.
