Yes and no, You learn who your true friends are when it comes to money, don't want to be rich just comfortable. Next time it will be on my own, buy the wood in and do what i'm good at:001_smile:

For chopping boards i would say apple or pear - oak also works well all needs to be nice and dry tho, woodturning i'll try anything (will post on woodturning thread what i've done with a plum goblet. Trellises sweet chestnut is the way forward:001_smile: Might see if i can get hold of a mini portable lathe
