are they just split using axe or billhook or are they sawn

if split as my guess do you always get 2 halves

 

 

fancy one of them on my house tbh

They are split using a froe and usually you get 2 halves but depends on how twisted and knotty the wood is.

I'm taking orders:biggrin:

Yes i did i thought i pm'ed you back but oviously never :blushing:, Just texted you mobile as the screen on arbtalk went white and i couldn't load back on:confused1:. I'll pm all those people who are intrested, Which i'm surprised at how much intrest there is.

Ian, do you make those fancy hazel woven fence panels?

 

Yes we do the fancy panels but IMO hazel outside won't last very long especially on the ground.

 

Spoke to a customer at the show today and they said they have had their post and rail sweet chestnut fencing up for the last 25years and it's starting to rot at the bottom.
