Trailer/tools insurance

Hi , new to the firewood job, have Ifor Williams tipper trailer for delivering logs, towable hydraulic log splitter , 2 chainsaws & small tools. How do I go on about insuring all these ?? I have business use insurance on my truck as lm self employed anyway but would that cover delivering logs ?? Any advice appreciated. Thanks.

I dont know how you have structured your business but if you were hiring all your kit in ( and that can be hired in from yourself to your own buisness under an agreement) a simple hired in plant insurance would cover all those bits and pieces that would otherwise be a ballache to insure.

How does that work Bob? The hire in from yourself?

I'm looking to up my insurance and it not easy finding the right policy.
