Hello after doing some research on the internet Iv ended up here which I'm told is a good place to ask about what I'm after. Now a bit about myself I'm 28 years old I breed rare coloured French Bulldogs & pugs, there main source of heating is from multi fuel stoves 1 to each block of 4 kennels. Having litters due most of the year round I tend to keep the kennels at 25/26 degrees Celsius in whelping stages for the first 3 weeks then start to drop the temperature slowly, however this time of year the burners are as good as always on slow burn and my wood bills are thru the roof with a ton bag lasting a couple of days max.

I'm not scared of work I.e cutting and splitting logs with chainsaw & splitter if they are already seasoned saves me abit of time to start with but if the price is not much difference for the cut & split I don't mind paying the price if there is still something left in it for me.

What I'm looking to achieve is if I bought a load in bulk and sold to people in my local area for the right price it might cut my wood bills in half by me putting a bit of work in, A lot of my family and friends have all turned to log burners and at the moment I'm always having messages to as where did I get my last load from or Iv run out of logs could I pinch some until I get a sack dropped off.

I have a space at the side of my house say 12m long 5m wide and with a wall at the back roughly 5m high I have enough space to bulk buy to a certain extent.

What sort of prices am I looking at for a good size load of seasoned cut & split hardwood logs

&

What sort of prices am I looking at for a good sized load of seasoned but uncut & un split logs that I could do myself.

Im in the West Midlands area of Walsall just off junction 10 of the m6.

Any information would be great thanks sorry to bore you.

Where abouts are you A hicky??

We supply logs in bulk bags and we are probably one the cheapest around, wood is mixed hard and soft but its mostly harrd wood, and its no imported rubbish;)

Hi there

I've just seen your post for firewood which you can split.

I'm a tree surgeon with a yard in coleshill near birmingham airport

i sell firewood but I also have loads of soft wood or hardwood spare for you to split yourself it's all cut up ready to split green logs or seasoned logs.

ir you can collect I can do 1 ton bags worth for £10-20 depending what you take

Or with delivery £20-30

If your interested let me know

Richard
