Any help point us in the right direction... what qualifications and training does our youngest need to be looking at to start out working up in the canopy.

He is 22 and is unsure if he needs to focus his budget on aerial rescue and tree rigging or the equivalents of the old Cs30-Cs31 etc or does he need to complete them all. He has already completed Irata Level 1(Which I believe contained aerial rescue elements).

If anyone can help by pointing us in the right direction that would be a great help and much appreciated.

You need CS 30 and 31 before you can get your 38 and 39 tickets I belive.

How about looking into an arboriculture apprenticeship?

Great idea, he is a grafter (takes after me), I am putting feelers out with local guys to see if anyone has an opportunity. Many thanks.
