calling all skittle players

It was down at the back of the old village hall on the road from the pub down towards where dy Pearce lived , there used too be langtree a , b and c team

And these old skittle chaps used to play cards in the dragon on a Tuesday

You must have known Nigel and Simon Brock and Rodney diamond battle down contractors :thumbup::thumbup:

 

 

I know Simon Brock he still farms across the valley from mum and dads place known him since I was little, I know Rodney and his lot from battledown they used to come sillaging at the farm I used to work on

there are dozens of sizes and styles so i can't make much for stock as they are sort of a custom order.

 

welsh skittles are 10" x 3 1/2"

 

most western skittles range from 4"-5" diameter by 10" tall.

 

somersets skittles are 12" tall and are 5"-6" diameter.

 

long alley are 14" tall with a metal ferrule at the bottom.

 

table skittles are 6" tall and dadlums are even smaller.

 

 

then you have the different shapes.

 

somerset, gloucester bristol, welsh, diamond, long alley, london skittles, daddlums and northamptonshire table skittles.

 

.

 

 

Fair enough if I'm honest I've never played the game that's why I'm clueless
