I live in Wiltshire now but I come from shebbear. Used to work for George renny from chittlehampton. My missus parents and grandparents live in landkey so get down there occasionally

 

It's a small world Will I come from winswell near peters Marland not far from shebbear did you live there many years :thumbup::thumbup:

 

Also my father worked for J Watt's cattle transport at landkey for 35yrs :thumbup::thumbup:

And shavey I know john watts well what a small world it is there's definitely got to be a North Devon reunion coming up???

Lived in sheb from 1985 when I was 4 till 2008, got a few friends live around peters marland, used to do a bit of work for frank deimert now and again. Is there much forestry work down there now?

Not my parents, my partners parents moved down about 10 years ago from thatcham. Mike and Kim cook, Mike drinks in the castle sometimes. Her grandad moved down last year he is Scottish and dresses very smart when he goes to the castle you would know him if you see him!

Next time we are down I will let you know and we can go pub👍🍺

Yeah there's still quite a bit of forestry work here I get a few thinning a and clear fells at castle hill estate.. I do all the climbing. There too

Yes most of the forestry work is tied up at Merton now

In 1985 I was doing a lot of agri contracting around shebbear and surrounding areas

 

This is crazy frank now lives 1/2 a mile from me now he's retired

And I worked for him off and on for several years :thumbup::thumbup:
