This is the Robin engine, as has been said before part blocked main jet, if you need parts the UK importer is now Engines Plus Ltd in Dursley 01453547273

 

Usually an engine hunts, just like others have said, due to a blocked jet.

 

In order to confirm the diagnosis it is often possible just to apply a little choke. If it runs smoothly then you know every thing else is fine.

finally got a chance to get a proper look at the engine stripped off the fuel filter a wee bit of fine crap in the bottom, took of the float bowl and main jet another fine bit of **** in the jet there was no emulsion tube up the centre took of the idle jet it was kinda furry cleaned everything back together and tried it again still no better i am now thinking there is something in one off the galleries in the carb another carb required i think any other thoughts have i missed anything obvious
