Did any one catch episode 7 of The Hunt and see the chap fall 30m?

The conservationist was tagging the chick, whilst descending went into free fall and broke both his wrist's and leg!

It's about 11mins in but I recomend watching the tigers first :001_cool:

It's actually pretty scary to watch and was wondering if any one knew what went on with his gear, pretty sure it was a fig8 that he was coming down on.

I seen it. "Heart into your throat moment". Obviously had to rewind it several times too. The speed that he was travelling just before going out of sight then "thud" and screams was frightening . And yeah, he was on a figure 8 but not a clue what went wrong. P.s did you see that birds talons , jeeees

I actually thought he was on a jumar and had put it on upside down. He went up on one. He wouldn't have gone that fast on a figure 8.

What ever it was he came a cropper
