I've had an oxdale tractor mounted splitter for four years. We see 150m3 a year.

It has only failed once - a spring in the spool valve - they sent one out free of charge. Very quick to use when you get good at it, I can do three cube of loose logs an hour.

Highly recommend the splitters and the company.

Hi, just to clarify is this the oxdale head?...as people have mentioned KTM above. How much did you split with it before it went if you don’t mind me asking. I’ve got the same model, bought at the same time as yourself and have just experienced the same thing. I only do 5-7ton a year, so it’s done 15ton max. Cheers

I deal with oxdale on a regular basis not for splitters but their powder coating side I have found them great to deal with and are genuine everyday people who want to help the splitters are made in chesterfield at their factory not imported from china
