Rope size and make plz

Hi guy sorry if this has be discussed before

I am running a yale fire xtc 13mm and it brilliant but a little two short I am looking for appinions on rope size and make I'm getting a zigzag next week and heard that a 11.7 is good for self tend I am about 16.5 stone so quit heavy but no problem climbing with 13mm I have felt the difference in the both ropes but 13mm feels better grip but I am open to change ect.and I no the 11.7 has a breaking strength of 2tonnes but what is that if 16.5 is falling a hight down is the force to much or is it OK sorry to be a pain and ask but here is the best way to find out

Your spine will give before the rope does.
