I wasn't saying your the negative one sorry if it came across that way. I employ them on piece work as they have full time jobs too! Where do you get websites done I'm not clever enough to do one and I want to go full time gardening but it's not established enough and haven't got enough work coming in to warrant quitting with dad. Dad pays me a decent wage, I want to be independent but a lack of private jobs means I'm left with about 3000£ I make from private jobs! I want to make good money some how !!

I think we all want to make good money!! It's finding it that's hard !!

I would try and get website done over the winter ready to go by end of Feb.

As someone said word of mouth is better than any paid advert.

Do get a local web designer to do website as you can then meet then in person to go through what you want not by email or on the phone.

That's not how business works really though bird, you need to be making money out of him working, even just a little bit. This industry is over run with people who don't charge enough for the dangerous work we do. You say the lads work full time and you work full time, you charge someone £150 to do a days tree work where I would be charging 3 times that minimum plus vat. You get the job and then down the line when you are doing tree work full time and need to put your prices up to pay for the knackered gear and insurance and training etc no one wants to pay you the proper going rate as they can get some one in on the cheap for £150 a day for 2 men. It's de valuing the industry.

I didn't think I was being cheap but you have got me thinking I definitely need to increase price !! I just don't want someone who works for me to quit working for me as he thinks or knows I'm getting a better deal or cut from it!
