Just an update on the chip quality

I tried a g50 screen in , and lowered the revs down but to no avail

The guy bought a laimet chipper and is now selling sieved fuel

The quality is very good, he is one of a very few in the country to be able to supply this type of fuel http://www.goodechip

I recently sold a Farmi pto chipper for producing gasification chip, it had to be 35x35 with no fines & no overs. Even machines costing half a million couldn't produce this, with a little tinkering we were able to produce this sample with 10% fines. There were some overs but they increased the sample size a little so there wasn't as many being screened out.

The customer also tried a Laimet but it was so violent & stalled his 400hp tractor + there was a lot of waste from the end of every log due to the way it cuts. Until the Farmi came along the boiler manufacturer could not find anything to produce the chip required, the customer won the contract to supply all the boilers.

just spent the afternoon feeding the laimet chipper , hell it needs some power , i tried everything , but couldnt do anything with it

I started in 540 at 2000 revs put a 2", 6 footer in and it chipped nicely

so i moved on to a 3" with a 6" butt end and it stalled it, anything more than 4" just stopped the tractor dead

very nice chip for chp though

I had a customer with a 400h Fendt & it constantly stalled that, a lot of waste also.
