Hi Thought i would give the Christmas tree idea ago as I've got a December carving demo. Building up some stock and thought I'd share I'm going to give them a bit of a blow torching for more detail.

Forgot to add Woodcrafter that yours don't look like said sex aids.

 

Instead of burning these days I am thinning down black gloss paint and using that instead of the blowtorch. I feel the burning doesn't last that long.

Hahahahaha excellent! Yes plus they would need to be made from hard wood!

Just had that proof read and painting it black and having the burning not lasting is digging me a bigger hole. :blushing:

 

I'm going to try highlighting with dark green gloss this year on the trees just to for a change. I'll get some pics up when I get round to them as still got Halloween stuff to finish.
