hi has anybody hear footlocked on the rope call snakebite10mm static kernmantle from sterling

if you have let me no cos i maybe get it if its good

Hmm, would go with the custom painted camo helmets! I'm going with the ninja look this season, black lid, black harness, just need some black blaze or velocity and i'm totally sorted!

petzl do black special ops krabs. They're not very good of course, but they're black!

 

You could colour each strand of your blaze in with a pen in that period of time between everyone turning up at the comp in the morning and finally getting in the trees!!!

A climber I work with footlocks with it everyday, and loves it.

I will be buying myself some soon, feels great, and virtually no stretch.

I,ve been using the sterling snakebite to footlock on for about 6 months. Its by far the best footlocking line i,ve ever used, there is hardly any give in the rope (0.63% elastic elongation @ 540lbs). This is fantastic for footlocking, none of your effort is wasted. I have not used the rope with mechanical ascenders, i prefer a footlocking strop (i,m intrested to hear from anybody who has). You can get the rope through Btrac and i would suggest the more visable red.
