Trannie HD clutches...is there such a thing?

Why to they fit the problematic DMF's in the first place?

 

Its basic function is to smooth out engine torque delivery/speed at low rpm. More judder, noise and vibration from the drive train at low rpm without one.

Don't know about Fords but we could certainly tell the difference on our Sprinter. Losing the DMF meant we had to change down sooner to avoid it juddering. Been reliable since though.

Ok, we swapped the DMF for solid, complete new clutch & fresh gearbox oil for £575. Guaranteed for 12 months/10k miles. Used it today for heavy towing & noticed no difference from the DM. Had to put bloody air fresheners in before to mask the burning plate.
