Great pics...it's interesting to see cranes used in tree work, I dont think they are used enough IMO.

I really would have taken the crown down with the crane as well, would have saved you a second trip to the site and you would have really got your money's worth from the crane... especially if the client is paying for it.. enjoy it while it's there.

 

I've not had the pleasure of a crane job yet, but seriousley trying to invent an excuse to get one out!!!!

great fun we're removing some large willows in the next month or so next to a busy road side traffic lights the works. so we're thinking of getting the crane in will slash the time it would normally take us and client saves alot of money cant believe how much traffic management costs.

Alba charge £480 for a lane closure on a main road I believe up here... Not sure if that is hourly or daily or what.

there has to be three way traffic lights and road closure for periods and the qoutes where coming in at £2500 ish for three days.:scared1:crane will do it in half the time cutting the cost for the client.

and thats before vat totaly crazy we're in the wrong buisness.
