Morning all, am going to view a pear tree to fell customer wants timber from it and stump removed, is it worth explaining that it will cost around £60 to hire stump grinder or tell them that it would be cheaper to use Glyphosate Tree Stump killer at £6 ish? what do you reckon? newby question i know but thoughts?

tell its 50%of the cost to fell the tree,so tree down,100,stump 50,if you have to hire think you will be out of pocket,sub it out and a bit on for you is best

Speaking as a customer I wouldn't expect you tell me how much your cost to hire the machinery is, just a price for grinding. However I would appreciate the heads up that I could use the Glyphosate if I was in no hurry

How big is it? Pear roots aren't too big you could just dig it out.
