Is that a sheet to take with you when quoting to fill in detail or a job sheet to give team leader on morning explaining job they are off to do?

Asking as just trying to do a quoting sheet myself to remind me to get all information I'll need later.

I'm thinking more along the lines of something I can use from 1st phone call - name, address, phone number.

On site, further contact details, email address, work to do, tick boxes for what to do with arisings, stumps, timber etc, extra equipment needed to remind me to get this information while there and make it easier when back at office after looking at potentially 15 jobs in the day what I actually needed so generate the quote and send it. Also act as a reminder if we get the job that we needed an extra bit of gear or also contact a neighbour before going etc.

Must say that's not everyday but sometimes it just builds up like that and I just do em all in a 1ner particularly if local authority work comes in as often multi sites dotted around an area which is normally easy as can do it evening or weekend but can still end up confused as to which needed what.

Need a better system as sat looking at my desk covered in bits of paper, 3 note books and old envelopes with phone messages scribble on them trying to make some order of it all.

I know what you mean I always find myself with a new note book which I say to myself I'll keep for quotes only so I keep organised, next minute I've used it as a parking disc, drawn pictures on it and then I loose it I need something better, I started using the notes page on the iPhone then it broke and I lost them all cause they weren't backed up.

There must be something!!

Why not just make one up on word? It's well easy. That way you can design it how you want it.
