Nice to meet you up there'

Don't remember what the lady sold for but my Dragon went for £80.00 should of put a reserve on it!

wasn't very happy with it anyway

My 30 minute Owl went for a £100.00 to top it off, lol

 

There was some good carvings produced in four hours, and although its the first event I have gone home out of pocket it was a big learning experience.

Spent 5 1/2 days there but I was stopped by loads of public coming up to watch and ask lots of questions, and the local press one day with loads of kids from the caravan park at the bottom of the wood.

All good publicity for me, so forgot about the price of the £1000 I carved it for!!!

I like the event, but I never go expecting good money. its a jolly more than anything, good scenery, chainsaws and good friends! (it's our wedding anniversary on the 4th, and it was our 10th last year, so try as I might, my lovely wife wasn't keen on being at a carving event for it!!)

might be there this year, I'll see how things pan out!
