I placed an order for a couple of items in the middle of July...

Well I've had a couple of weird phone calls with them.

 

I called yesterday - bloke answered just "hello" so I checked it was AAS. Yes. Then he immediately started appologising that they hadnt sent the order yet and would do real soon.

 

So I asked if wanted to know who I was and what order I was phoning about. He didn't. I asked which items were going to be sent out to see how good his crystal ball was...

 

Eventually after a totally baffling conversation I got put through to Ben. I've spoken to Ben before, when the order was only 10 days late. He was going to discount the expedited delivery charge and send me a discount voucher which of course never appeared.

 

He seemed slightly less confusing. Eventually persuaded him to check the actual order and apparently their suppliers were not playing ball. Or something.

 

Anyway the good news - I did get a paypal refund today. No explanation of why.

 

So my conclusion is they are not scammers, but are completely scatty. I'll stick with FRJ/TW/etc.

 

Just thought an honest description might help others.
