Hi there,

Just to clarify your question.

Are you asking if you should use Aspen 2 alkylate petrol vs Pump fuel mixed with stihl hp oil?

If so, then the advantages of going the Aspen 2 route are as follows

  • 99% cleaner emissions = better for the user, especially if using the machine everyday (search the forum for feedback from people who use it already)
  • Longer lasting machinery, Aspen 2 burns very cleanly leaving virtually no carbon deposits inside the engine. This means longer lasting machinery that works the way it was intended
  • Perfect 50:1 mix of 2 stroke oil = conveniance & class leading protection for your machine
  • Unlike pump fuel mix, Aspen wont deteriorate or go off so you can put your machine away for long periods of time knowing it will start straight away when you come to use it next

advantages for using pump fuel mixed with stihl hp or similer oil

  • lower purchase price
