I only do about 30 tonnes a year now but get some butts that can be 20-30 inches across. Both my ms39 have packed up would this be a good saw or should I go ms440.

461 rather than 440. Or a Dol 7910...

Both models are good cross cutting saws the ps-7910 is lighter and fitted with a 24" bar is always a good combination ideal sizes for bars 18"" - 32"

 

The ps-9010 is heavier but when it comes too cutting big round timber then you can run any bar from 20" up too 36"
