Makita Saw

My new saw sat pride of place in tge livingroom for the first week... i openly told her i blew my holiday money on it and am now skint (she still booked a holiday for us all the same )... actually said it was better as a holiday - i will get much longer use out of it AND itl keep her warm all winter!

 

To be fair she has hung around... if she will put up with that maybe i should marry her * oh god - what has she done that makes what i said OK?!?!

 

Oh well, if she leaves you I'll marry you. We can fill the living room with saws and sit on the sofa fondling them!

I think, but not certain, the clutch drum/sprocket/bearing (best to be safe) i need is from the PS5105/6100 if it helps.

I went for the Makita DCS5121.

 

Checked various parts lists, both Dolmar and Makita, and the 5105 seems to have all the same parts in the clutch area - except for the drum and sprocket.

I bought a Makita DCS5121 a while back as an upgrade on a Stihl ms211, great saw. I love mine.
