Just like to mention the fantastic service these guys deliver. Very helpful and friendly to deal with, and they really know their stuff.

Also very patient and accommodating for a "learner splicer" like myself.

Great product range, especially for those with expensive taste in hitch cord!

Big thank you to you all!

To the staff at treeworker mate, it's their bit of the forum we're in.

Really great to deal with, and my newfound hobby is both bittersweet and addictive!

Ahh! Can't see that. I've got the iphone app.. It just shows it on the time line. It doesn't help that I'm 50 and getting slower on the uptake...

Heard good things about them. Wouldn't mind learning how to splice.

I think Johnny Quick has a good instructional video on splicing too..

I have to make do with bowlines myself...

Try it mate, when things go well there's such a sense of satisfaction, but when they don't I've almost been reduced to tears! It's an expensive hobby though, I keep seeing stuff and thinking: " I need that"!

Buy some tenex and a wire fid and start making dead eyes and whoopies. If you can't manage that than go no further! If you do then be prepared for an addiction!
