Hi, something to keep in mind is it that all chissis modifications " lengthening the wheel base" need to be IVA inspected and that your gross weight will still be 2880 Kg.

I looked into making a td5 disco 130 high capacity pick up. The only real way would be to get a Defender 130 and put the disco body on it. Keeping the Defender reg and the 3500kg gross weight.

Was there not a silver one with high aluminium sides in the camp site at last years APF show, passed it on the way into the site, maybe one on the campers knows who it was?

Body doesn't have to come off to change turbo on td5. Some people take the body of on a Disco 3.

The garage was talking about a twin turbo if that makes a difference. 6 hours work to change turbos after the body was off ? Seems a lot to me but not my vehicle so I don't really know the full story. Thoughts?
