I have a generator running 99% of the time to power my yard, so i didnt want to run a tractor and generator at the same time.

The splitter has run off the tractor pto once in the past six months, and thats only because i was out splitting in the wood.

Is there no difference in speed when it runs off 1 or the other? is it a big difference in price to have pto & electric motor?

She is quicker on the pto without a doubt, but more than adequate on the electric motor.

 

I forget how much extra it added, if i can find the quote, i will pm you
