After an unplanned day of listening to the cricket and od-ing on neurofen i've decided I need some sort of wheel on the front of the cs100 for loading it up the trailer ramp on my own. Bit of a hot topic at the moment on the forum.

Something like this http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/attachments/large-equipment/172672d1419326351-cs100-winch-mount-photo-1-6.jpg

I want to un-clamp the wheel once it's on site because I need to use the existing the rubber foot to stop it moving around - hence can't fabricate a new front stand so want to mount the jockey wheel to the existing front foot.

Q - as I'm drilling two holes into the front support foot and not interfering with the mechanics of the machine would this invalidate my warranty?

Cheers.

If you made something like in the pic u posted and would the jockey wheel up so it pushes against the box section it wouldn't move and being rubber would do the same job as a rubber foot! I'm thinking of making something similar!

To be honest, I doubt we would void warranty on such a minor conversion. Why not get a trolley type wheel in place of the original foot just to load, or rob a skateboard set and fashion a conversion with that. Better still, get a small winch with a remote to assist you.....
