I have always fancied turning a few bowls ect

well you boys have inspired me

then a guy came to yard asking for bits for turning

swapped him some wood for a quick lesson

and now i have just bought a lathe some tools and an extractor and even BOUGHT some wood

only problem is making some space in my garage to fit it in so it may be a while before it gets turned on:lol:

Plippy, there are good and bad first purchase lathes, take your time, work out what diameter you wish to turn, and if you have no wish (like me),to go spindle turning, you can save money and get a better lathe for your money, if you get stuck pm. me and I will give you some leads
