Ok enough is enough of the cheap and cheerful, got it down to these 2 both similar priced Husg £170 Jonsered £180 (so far best price Abbey garden sales). Use - will be felling out some dead trees and thinning out my small 6 acre wood. I'll be getting a more pro saw in the new year for other work I've got on but need something now for this budget. What's your fave

236 and 2234 is the same saw, both hobby saws built in the US, neither are great, 135 is a far better saw.

The 235/236/240 likely is the worst saws Husky ever put their brand name on. My dealer refused to sell them, and I know other dealers did as well.

 

The same is of course the case with the Jonsered 2234/2238.
