I'm about to buy myself a husky 135 and need to get trousers and boots to go with it. As I'm not a pro, just working in the woods once or twice a week, my budget isn't big. I'm also struggling to understand matching trousers to saw (m/s saw speed to class 1 class 2 trousers etc.) Can anyone help with what class torusers and boots I'll need and where to buy? Thanks all

Just to clarify my confusion on maximum chain speed for the 135 is that Husqavarna have it listed as 17.1m/s and f r jones say 22.9 m/s. So if husky site is correct thats class 1 trousers and if jones is correct then it would be class 2. I guess jones have it wrong?

The cheapest option would probably be huskh wellies, not very comfortable though!

Thanks foureyes - thats what I was thinking. I reckon I'd rather stretch to more like £100ish and get something that would be more comfy. I don't fancy working in the wood in July and August wearing those wellies - could be the worst fifty quid I've ever saved :laugh1:
