And now I got confused again.....:laugh1:

My first 5105 came from the states in 2011 and it came with a dolmar 084 chain and that was full chisel .050 1.3mm

The 420 comes from dolmar with .325 050 1.3mm

the 5105 comes from dolmar with.325 058 1.5mm

Can you double check that ?

There are 2 options in my 116 manual - 099 and 084

099 is 3/8" pitch and 0.058" gauge and is identicle to Oregon 73LP.:thumbup1:

084 is listed as 0.325" and 0.058" so could be 21LP:confused1:

So that's interesting I always thought the 084 only came in 050 it shows how misleading things are

Below in the chain charts from dolmar you can see there are two versions of the 099 3/8 chain semi chisel and full chisel 5.2 mm file and 5.5mm file

Full chisel .325 had a 4.5mm file to sharpen then near the end 4.8mm file

Semi chisel .325 had a 4.8mm file right through the life of the chain

Iam probably barking up the wrong tree :lol::lol:
