Hi, can anybody tell me what the hard black finish on the discharge chute and the top of the body cover is? Got to do a little welding and would like to be able to make good after. Thanks

You can get a similar finish using a Shultz paintable stone chip

Works best on sand blasted surface

You can adjust the roughness of the finish by a number of ways

The finish is a rubberised textured surface which is ideal for applying a coat of 2 pak paint on to for a high strength gloss finish

You can apply more than one layer for a thicker coating is required but it the first coat needs to set fully first 24-48 hrs

It can be sanded once set as well

NB make sure it's paintable as the non paintable comes in the same tin !!!

No spray on!

You need the right type of spray gun for the job

Once applied if left to set before sealing it with paint over the top it becomes a very strong rubberised layer
