we used to spend 150 now my wife has it down to under 50quid, she is an awesome cook. its not the main meals its all the crap that gets thrown in the trolley for snacks and stuff. make a budget and stick to it, thats what we do for everything now

I love all the snacks and beer and goodies!!:001_tt1:

I never moan about what our lass spends, I just love going to the fridge or cupboard and getting what ever i want.

When we were married at first we were skint, I mean really skint, no phone, no TV, no holidays, no car, no carpets.

I started as a groundie on £30 a day self employed, bought a 2CV6, I can remember all the other lads getting a bacon butty and I had £3 in my pocket, but that was my petrol money for the week, so I just ate a cheese sandwich out my lunch box on homemade bread.

We spent £25 a week on shopping, at Xmas we had £50 :001_tt1:, we did not know what to spend it on we kept putting stuff in the trolley then saying no! lets get this instead.

Once I started climbing we could not believe what I was earning!!:001_smile:
