PL\PI for a self employed tree surgeon

Hey everyone, I'm going back to being self employed at the end of next week and am on the hunt for public liability insurance as well as personal, including extreme sports. Can anyone reccomend a company who offers such a package?

So far I have found that tree surgeon insurance.co.uk offer all of the above, has anyone dealt with them?

Arborisk look like a good company to deal with but I'm not sure they cover extreme sports.

Any other recommendations?

Not sure if they cover for extreme sports but I think they do some sort of personal accident cover (not sure if that applies?)

 

But Public liability insurance - Compare quotes | Simply Business are good because they show you quotes from a few different insurers

We can offer both Public Liability and Personal Accident cover on Arborisk but this will not cover extreme sports.

 

However, as a broker we can approach alternative insurers for a Personal Accident Policy that will include extreme sports.

 

Unfortunately we cannot cover the republic of Ireland as this falls outside of our territorial limits. We can however offer cover to those based in Northern Ireland.

So in the end I ended up using income assured for personal insurance, as they seem to cover everything from mental illnesses to extreme sport.

I've gone for PL/EL through arborist. Both companies were well priced (I thought) and a pleasure to deal with. I (thankfully) can't comment on what they're like in the event of an accident/claim.
