560xp stalling!

Every time I turn the saw on its side, it stalls and won't start for 20 minutes.

It will run full throttle but stalls when u release the trigger.

Not spluttering then dying, instant stopping.

 

Confused!

And annoyed.

How old is this saw, there was a later fuel hose with better bends in it to stop it getting flattened.

About 14 months old.

Changed in 2012 week 17 so I guess yours should be ok.

This has happened to a few peoples saws that I know, and mine is just starting to do the same.

 

Think it has to go back to the dealer to have the software reloaded, no actual fault just the ecu has forgotten some bits

That's the feeling I had Dave.

 

I took it back to the dealer and without starting it, he told me it would need a new carb and spark plug (not under warranty). This is the only 560xp he's ever sold.

 

Oh, how I laughed.
