Haven't had the motivation to get on and carve yet this year so I relit the fire with this quick carve took around an hr just chainsaw. Customer doesn't want it sanded at all. I'd quite like to pick up one of those mop sander heads for the die grinder and give it a quick go over. ImageUploadedByArbtalk1430146618.395471.jpg.a113e5be512e7c4d6550a0dabba65a53.jpg

so what do you call a 'quick carve'?

Just one that I can knock out in my lunch break. It wasn't a particularly rushed carve.

Certainly not a speed carve like the pro's do.

I've got a bit of work I'll do to it with a dremel on the face so once I've done that and put the eyes in it'll have been an hour and a half.

Cheers Si

I'm after a new dremel any recommendations on any particular model that you may have or have heard to be good?

I've got the dremel 4000 but not used it yet. Not tried them before so don't know how it compares to the 3000

Looks great - must be a lovely way to spend a lunch break! :)

Cheers yeah it is satisfying doing it in your lunch break, as long as you get a bit of grub down you as well otherwise it can feel like a long day.
