Hi, I have a 2008 ford ranger in great condition and I want to keep it. But!!! It's a single cab with high sides and no tipper. I am beyond fed up of unloading it. I have had a quote from power tipper in Somerset for £1950 for there tipper conversion. What are people's thoughts? Worth it? Reliable? Cheers guys

My two peneth worth...

take the rear tub off and either get a second hand transit tipper and cut it down or take the bare chassis to a vehicle builder and have one built, dought if it would cost any more than that.

Ive cut down a transit frame and fitted alloy high sides (service metals) total cost about £1000 inc tool lockers.
