it is heavy rain here today and i have some horrblie sycamores to reduce full of ivy, and the banking is steep as hell covered in moss, so the drag is torture, so i am leaving it for a nicer day, whay you guys off today?:001_smile:

Rain!! Supposed to be hedge trimming but hate it on a good day so in the rain its worse. Plus I want to hang around as my tipper is being put on the new truck today.

hedge cutting is crap on a good day mate, you would be soaked in the first 2 mins. truck far more important, i take it they have had to shorten the main body to fit the tipper, it looked like it had a big overhang

We are keeping the overhang so we can shelter under it on wet days!! I think theres a coupel of inches coming off the back of the chassis but not much. Hope it will be ok!

Did you see this pic of a mates old truck, much bigger overhang on this one than mine will have and it worked ok.

no work :-( . came back from turkey yesterday so nothing realy booked in. not that i have much at the minute. and the other guys i work for hae nothing this week either .

I am at work, just from home, trying to do paperwork, organise a mates stag do, chase fencing contractors, explain to a landowner how his cattle have destroyed the habitat of a protected species (watervoles), trying to order a digital SLR as my camera has died so i want another decent one.

 

and im going fly fishing later on if the weather eases up a bit

as long as you can still hook on the chipper it wil be fine i reckon, new kit is always good.:001_smile:
