I've been asked to do some mobile processing,I have a posch spaltfix 3000 and valmet 8100 with roofmount.Any thoughts on what kind of hourly rate i should charge for kit an 1 man operating it.Cheers in advance folks:001_cool:

no less than £30 an hr i would have thought :001_smile:

normal tractor £30 quid an hour with implement plus diesel, if you are using the crane i would want another £20 quid an hour..what about chains, if their wood is full of metal then they can pay for new chains..

The wood is pulp cut by harvester so should be clean.Tungsten blade on posch so no need t worry about chains.Think 3m lenghts will man handle onto in conveyor.:001_cool:

I charge £30 per hour for tractor (no roof mount) processor and operator but am begining to think it should be slightly more . Where abouts in Aberdeenshire are you ?.

Hi i paid £30ph for one man and a1x37hakki pilkki.and i was very happy to pay that i was passing him the timber all day as well.so i would say if you are are doing all the work on your own £40ph is a fair price
