Site Clearance _Wakefield

I've a client tendering for a contract in the Wakefield area. I've seen the site and it's not for us, as it really needs someone with more plant.

Most of the works tall spindly goat willow and hawthorn (10 m or so) and it's a big area. Would suit someone with a machine with a grab to feed the chipper.

Can anyone interested post or PM. I've spoke to our client, explained that it's a bit far for us and we're not equipped properly to do this at an economic rate, so you'd be working direct with the developer, assuming they win the tender.

Thanks for all the replies guys. I don't have much in the way of details, a tree survey and a plan showing the site boundaries.

I think it's a social housing project, but it's still only at the tender stage for the main construction company, who you'd be working for. I've no info on either start dates, the duration of the project, nor at what stage planning is at.

We've tracked chippers and a mog, but the site is a long way to travel to for too long a period of time. I also think it's too big a site to be doing manually feeding chippers.

our client is sound and I have no concerns saying you'd get paid- but it's on the standard construction industry contract terms. Some of the site managers are really to the letter of the law, so paperwork is better to be 100% just to save problems.

Could everyone who has contacted me email me their email addresses and a contact name, so I can forward them on to our client. They can then send details on. Closing date for the tender is a week Friday

I sent contact details across (from everyone who PM'd and emailed me) to our client. I had a call just before close of play tonight, informing me that the client had emailed SOME of the companies this afternoon.

I don't know how many or who has been emailed, but thank you to everyone who contacted me. Hopefully, our client will be successful in their tender, which means someone from on here will be doing the work.
