I did when I first got the chipper back but last two conversations have been through the dealers who are just being sympathetic at present. I just wanted to get some thoughts from the wider community here. some useful points in there, thanks. I dont want to do the model down, as it is a little beast.....maybe the grunt is the same but the roar is less....

If you look at the machine specs it says rotor speed 1800 rpm. So if yours was running at 1900 it was probably set wrong n maybe reason it went bang in first place.

thanks but it says 1900 in my manual right here. I had it running at 1860 before the 'bang'.

Speak to greenmech directly for confirmation is what I would do.

I will yep. Greenmech are happy with what they have done to the machine but I think there is another conversation to be had....maybe my old engine was just a beast with a deathwish!! its tricky. The old machine impressed everyone who used it.
