They make the Zone 1 in 3 sizes so it enables you to get a snug fit, the i3 was also made in 3 sizes with options for outfitting! Good boat tho.

The whole * courses have been changed around to paddle plus stuff and it seems that you have to do a certain amount of open canoe. Is this what your doing or direct 2*?

what do you wear when you kayak surf? is it a dry suit or wetsuit and kag?

At the moment im paddleing in palm long johns, craft thermal t-shirt, palm sidewinder dry cag, palm socks and granit shoes.

Through the winter when white water, at weirs and surf you really want a dry suite + it depends how well you can roll!!

I wear Sidewinder (torrent) dry suit its amazing, worn it surfing and i really notice that i over heated massively due to getting worked harder than on a river i would agree and just wear a drytop and board shorts. I used to have a sidewinder shorty but i could only use it in the summer because it was so cold i thought i could take it but i wossed out.

 

The Pyranha i3 is an amazing boat surfs lovely but my good the back end is slicey, if you wont a boat to stern squirt this is ideal!!

yeah i surf on a regular basis in swansea and the gower. The place i work we regularly go for a surf if we get a job and finish (rain days) usually steve luquoq is there too. I used to be based in barnstaple and loved the slow ride in saunton!!! i ride a 9ft 6 what are you riding?

Im in to the faster stuff i have a NS 5' 2 a 6' 4 and a 7' 4 for when things are going slow

I was on a 6'2 squash tail for a long time, replaced it with a 6'6 in North California last year as I'd been out the water a while. Never got the hang of long boarding, cant understand how you manage not duck diving?

Boys i live 5 mins from Croyde, Saunton and putsbrough, i was in a couple of hours ago 2-3 ft and clean at puts, 6,2 fish had a brill surf, and it wasn't too packed for once. Going for an early mornig tomorow:001_tongue:

i ride a 9ft 6 bear board! I like croyde johnty but prefer the more mellow saunton! Looking at 2 boards on ebay 1 a 7ft fat boy shortboard the other a 12ft standup paddle board! tried a shorter board last week coz some idiot decided to drive over and skid to a halt over the nose of my board! funny thing was i called a holiday in the morning and two of the boys from work pulled up in the car park to check out the waves and they seen it all:001_smile: they thought i was going to kill him but at the end of the day people make mistakes:mad1:

anyway i am off on a tangent i am now in a quandry do i go back to short boards or onwards to bigger boards?
