it is illegal i think u will find ,thats why the military had to have spare wheels fitted on the side to comply with eu rules.

 

I was told it was cos the women couldn't lift up the bonnet as it was too heavy?

 

Did you know the reason military 110's are called 'Wolf', is that it stands for Wheel On Left Flank.

cant see it being illegal to put spare on bonnet, mines there ('94 110hcpu) might not be illegal but cant see much past it even though its a 750 skinny road tyre (avon), need all the room we can get in the back though.. Ed
