Be nice to put some faces to the names. The only person I'll actually recognize is Paul.

Edit. The avatar isn't me btw. (it's me dad!)

...and I'm not really 2 foot tall with a massive yellow moustache :thumbup1:

Really?

Can you wear a red carnation in your left lapel, so everyone knows you then:biggrin:

We'll know Jules (the one in a kilt - not steorotyping like) and 10 bears will be presumably carrying Steiffs finest or the one jumping off the tables.

Sorted:thumbup1:

Had the pleasure of Mr Kirkham around his play ground today, brief discussion (amongst many other things) around the fatality & risk management at Kew.

Should be a good presentation & discussion on Thursday......enjoy !

Good day today! No Mr Kirkham, but we had the Kew tree manager Kevin Martin there instead to talk about their tree management systems. He also gave some more comment on the sad events of 2012 when a lady was killed by a falling cedar branch.

David Lonsdale talked was excellent as always, talking about some of the expert witness cases he has been involved in.

In the afternoon Nevill Fay talked about managing ancient and veteran trees; the need to acknowledge their vast benefits and manage appropriately in order to conserve some of the important heritage trees we have.

It was great to meet a few AT chaps, including Jules Dalton. Where were you Gary?!

Front row centre.

I didn't see anyone, I spoke to Kevin and he didn't think you were there.

I enjoyed Nevilles presentation particularly, but was flagging somewhat after lunch. Kevin's description of the aftermath of the Kew incident highlighted how frightening the situation became.

It was a good day, apart from the fifty mile/two and a half hour drive home:sneaky2:
