whats wrong with the old fashioned radisseur ,with a monkey pulling slack.if working with high tensile wire the longer the strain the better can easilly do a mile at a time.the longer the strech the more tension the wire will hold and will therefore remain tighter than on short pulls where there is insufficient strech in the wire to maintain tension.

yes i agree with the above i install rads on ALL my lines barbed and plain, im a full time fencer, and also the idea of pulling every 50 mtrs is bizarre, it easier to pull longer lengths tight, #you ask any fencer it the short bits you struggle to get tight,

now as for gripples perhaps ive been lucky but ive not had one slacken with me yet, if pulling short runs up to 150 mtrs, i tie one end and the if possible pull to the other , i put clamp on rylock and the pull with a strop, on the motor,

the ideal way is to use a telescopic, with the boom right out and then you can slowly pull it in and also use the tilt to adjust top or bottom,
